| Hallmarks are always stamped on each
part. Above, on the funnel bowl you can see the placement of the
hallmarks above right.
Reading left to right: maker's mark, lion passant, leopard, date letter and duty letter. The bowl or cup's marks are on the cup exterior although sometimes they can be on the filter piercing. The funnel spout's hallmarks are on its top ring - into which the cup fits. Other objects such as coasters or funnel stands may have the marks on the top or the bottom.
